About the program

The core of the Russian world is its historical and spiritual tradition that were never broken in the Russian world and that are getting more demand recently following the changes in the historical fate of Russia in 1980s — 1990s of XX century. It was caused by a number of vital issues and challenges the Russian Federation faced not only in geopolitical, demographic and economic spheres but also in spiritual and public fields of the country’s life.

The spelling of the programme’s title in Russian is that of the pre-revolution period. It is done because the Foundation of St. Andrew the First-Called and the Centre of National Glory want to emphasize the succession in the historical fate of Russia. The peculiar feature of the Programme is its focus on  re-connection of different elements of the Russian world as the unity of civilization space which had been broken by dramatic events in the Russian history at the beginning of XX century.
